Brainstorming ideas
One of the most valuable assets you can develop is your resource library.
You'll be gathering information continuously to build your home business. Some information you will use right away. Other information you'll want to save for various growth stages of your online business.
Your goal should be to accumulate and organize it. It should be a true library. One that you can find things as you need them.
When you're on a page that interests you, take note of the page URL, not the home page. For example if you are looking at a potential affiliate program, save the URL to the affiliate page. When you need to go back, you will save time by going directly to the page.
Don't just keep the URL, put a note to yourself also. If you don't you'll soon find you have a long list of urls, and no idea why you have them.
Using a spreadsheet program works for cutting and pasting urls. You can also insert notes to yourself.
When you come across detailed information, it usually helps to make a hard copy. This way you can use a good ol' fashioned highlighter and make notes.
You'll be downloading many free e-books. Create your system for filing them. When you find something important in an e-book, note it in your resource library. List the title of the book and the page.
Remember you are always on the look out for good ideas, or ideas you can improve upon. Build a section for this into your resource library. Include a section for noting ideas that pop into your head, or for brainstorming sessions.
